Lo Presti Intelligence

Services

A transaction, a dispute or a change in the operating environment can expose an organization to risks that conventional research does not explain. Lo Presti Intelligence brings corporate intelligence, lawful human-source research and strategic analysis into one disciplined decision process. We work from the question that matters to your organization, not from a predetermined conclusion.

Match the research to the unresolved decision

A service label is a starting point, not a research plan. Corporate intelligence can establish a wider counterparty picture, whereas enhanced due diligence concentrates on integrity questions that standard review has not resolved. Dispute research may focus on a factual chronology, and geopolitical analysis may ask how a development changes commercial exposure. The useful distinction is the question and its consequence.

An initial scope should record the entities, jurisdictions, deadline and information already reviewed. It should also identify what would constitute a material finding and what falls outside the mandate. Selecting every discipline by default can duplicate effort without improving the decision. The mix of sources should be proportionate to the information gap and the legal boundaries involved.

Documentary evidence and human insight serve different purposes

Public records may establish incorporation, filings, litigation events or disclosed interests. Their limits include date, coverage and the difference between recorded and beneficial ownership. Appropriately conducted interviews may explain commercial practices and relationships, but a contributor’s interpretation is not automatically verified evidence. OSINT and HUMINT should therefore be evaluated together rather than treated as competing approaches.

A report can include chronologies, relationship maps, source-backed findings and an explanation of confidence. It should identify contradictory information and unresolved leads. Further diligence, legal analysis or professional advice may be appropriate where an apparent connection is material but unsubstantiated. The deliverable is a clearer basis for judgment, not a certificate that a counterparty or decision is risk-free.
