Lo Presti Intelligence
Discuss your intelligence requirement
Start with the decision, the jurisdictions involved and your timeframe—not sensitive evidence.
Initial enquiry
Tell us the broad nature of the matter and the organisation you represent. We will first assess whether the proposed purpose and scope are appropriate. Confidentiality terms, conflicts, research boundaries and a suitable way to exchange documents can then be discussed. An initial email does not create an engagement or a privileged relationship.
Do not include sensitive personal data, passwords, confidential evidence or restricted documents in your initial message.

The information that helps define a useful mandate
Begin with the decision your organisation needs to make and the uncertainty preventing it. Identify the entities and jurisdictions at a broad level, explain the timeframe and state what has already been researched. A transaction-related enquiry might concern ownership and integrity; a dispute-related enquiry might concern a chronology or a particular relationship. Naming the question makes it easier to assess whether intelligence is the appropriate next step.
Please identify your organisation and your role in the proposed instruction. If you are acting for another party, explain that relationship without sending confidential documents. The initial website enquiry opens an email draft in your email application; it is not a secure document-upload portal. Do not include passwords, sensitive personal data or restricted evidence in that message.
Agree scope before sharing sensitive material
An initial discussion can establish the purpose, potential conflicts, research boundaries and the people authorised to instruct the work. Confidentiality terms, reporting access and a suitable way to exchange documents should then be discussed where an engagement is appropriate. Sending an email does not by itself create a client engagement or establish legal privilege.
If the requirement involves litigation, regulated decisions or information that may be protected by law, the relevant legal or professional adviser should be involved in defining the mandate. Questions of authority, admissibility, disclosure and regulated advice cannot be settled by an intelligence website. Immediate danger or suspected crime should be referred to emergency services or the appropriate authorities rather than a commercial enquiry.
